Ms. Ning Li, is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from Beijing. Before she came and settled in the UK, she worked in China for many years as a journalist, editor, news reader, chief radio programme presenter, Senior Journalist (the Professional Qualification Certificate issued by the National Broadcast & Film General Administration, China in 2001), and a lecturer at a broadcast school. She holds the Certificate of Putonghua (Mandarin) Level with Grade One & First Rate (普通话水平一级甲等证书), which reaches the highest level of Mandarin Chinese. She also obtains the Certificate of Examiner of Putonghua Proficiency Test (普通话水平测试员证书). Both certificates are issued by the National Education and Language Work Committee of China. In 2005, she also won the title of China “National Hundred Excellent Broadcast Programme Presenter” the award certificate being issued by the central government department of China. After graduated from University in China (majored in Chinese Language & Literature), Ms Li had many years’ professional working experience in the broadcast field in China. As a former newscaster and chief radio programme presenter, her spoken Chinese is very normative and standard. Her well trained, received Mandarin pronunciation is accurate and clear. Now she feels very happy having an opportunity to be working as a Mandarin teacher for Wenlin Chinese School in London. She enjoys helping students to learn Chinese. Her teaching in classes are creative, flexible, relaxed, fun and practical. All her students in the classes are not only learning perfect Mandarin, but also gaining knowledge about Chinese culture, history, traditional custom and people’s life style etc.
